Frankfort is located on one of the best private white sand beaches in Jamaica. The villa has undergone a total interior renovation in 2004 that has transformed it into one of the most spectacular properties in Jamaica. New travertine floors, bathrooms, and exquisite European furniture.
Frankfort has a total of 2 acres and includes a 6000 square foot lawn and a 7500 square foot private white sandy beach. And there is a new 8 person hot tub close to the beach so you can relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean!
The villa has wireless, high speed ADSL throughout, even on the beach!
Each bedroom in the main house has a flat screen television and opens through double doors to the 80 foot balcony and spectacular ocean view. While all bedrooms have blackout curtains and remote-control quiet air conditioning, you may opt to sleep with doors open to the sound of waves lapping on the beach.
You can also enjoy the free use of the Prospect Estate's tennis court, mini-golf course, jitney and horse back riding tours all within an easy 5 minute walk of the villa.
On the property is a charming old school house situtated right on the beach. This old school house is self contained with its own bedroom, bathroom and living room. A romantic hideaway where you can sleep with the wonderful sound of the Caribbean sea lapping against the beach. The School House has also been completed renovated with new furnishings, bathroom and the addition of an exercise area with new high end treadmill. The School House also has wireless ADSL internet access.
Interesting Facts...Frankfort was an old sugar wharf house in the 18th century and still has some of the original architectural features (original wood beams and fortified stone walls). Franksfort has been enjoyed by some of the greatest luminaries of the 20th century including: Sir Winston Churchill, Dr. Henry Kissinger, Mr. Pierre Trudeau as well as royalty and other prime ministers. This winter home of the plantation owner has also become a home away from home for some of the more prominent stars of modern popular culture.
