Stone Harbour is a beautiful beachfront 4 bedroom
villa located on the sea in Old Fort Bay, Ocho
Rios.
The main villa has the master bedroom along with
two more bedrooms. A separate building a few yards
away has the pool house downstairs and the “Getaway”
bedroom suite, with bathroom, upstairs.
On entering the main house through the covered car
porch a hallway on the left takes you to 3 of the bedrooms
or to the right into the living room and dining
area. The gallery has a seating area for reading,
bookcases with books, CDs and DVD's and a game table.
The living room area has a TV (with DVD, VCR, cable
and CD player) and flows into a dining room with
seating for 8. The living room also has an indoor
bar with separate refrigerator. The lawn outside
is split into two levels. On the upper level along
with the main villa is a broad expanse of grass,
perfect for lawn games, and a place for kids to
play. On the lower level is the pool and a cottage
that houses the pool cabana downstairs and the “Getaway”
bedroom suite upstairs. The best thing about the "Getaway" room is the private verandah with chairs and umbrella and taking in the spectacular ocean views. The pool cabana has its
own serving bar, bar chairs with tables and a powder
room. Lunch can be served at the pool cabana. Outside the cabana is an outdoor shower and
a barbecue.
The large free form pool has lounge chairs and looks
out to the sea. The pool utilizes new technology that allows for not using chlorene. The system still cleans properly but makes it so the pool is like swimming in bottled water. Next to the pool is a wonderful jucuzzi.
Ocean swimming is easy from the villa and a short
distance offshore is a beautiful coral reef prefect
for snorkeling. The villa has a small sandy beach
and the private beach at Old Fort Bay is just a
few steps away.
If you need even more relaxatioin the staff can arrange for a massage in the villa. Someone will come to the house and can setup a massage table just about anywhere.
The villa is also just a couple minute drive from both the RIU and Sandals Dunn's River Falls hotels. Day passes can be purchased directly at the hotels to enjoy their beach, pools and other activities.
For larger groups willing to stay in neighboring villas, there is Four Winds, a 5 bedroom villa, that is located directly next door with easy access through the lawns or on the street. |
